What Protection rating are the sunglasses?

All of our lenses are made from impact resistant A-Grade Polycarbonate (PC) material that provide 100% UV Protection and comply with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 1067.1, 2016)

Our frames are fitted with Smoke lenses (Category 3 lens) and Copper Brown lenses (Category 2).

What do sunglasses lens categories mean?

The category number equates to a percentage of the VLT (Visible Light Transmission) that is, how much light the lens lets through.

The higher the VLT, the lighter the lens and conversely the lower the VLT, the darker the tint will be, blocking more light to the eye.

              Lens category 2: Sunglasses - These sunglasses provide a medium level of sun glare reduction and good UV protection.

              Lens category 3: Sunglasses - These sunglasses provide a high level of sun glare reduction and good UV protection.

Are the sunglasses Polarized?

Our lenses are made from shatterproof polycarbonate and provide 100% UV protection (UV400).

Our PC lenses are designed for general purpose wear and optimal UV protection. They do not include a polarized filter better suited to sports enthusiasts and the reduction of horizontal glare.

Do I get a Cover with my sunglasses?

Every pair of Hey Frankie sunglasses comes with its very own quilted neon puff pouch.  Not only does the pouch protect the precious sunnies inside but it also has an external phone sleeve and a wrist strap to keep your sunnies handy!

Do I get a Warranty on my Hey Frankie Sunglasses?

We provide a 90 day warranty against design faults and manufacturer defects for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase (proof of purchase required).

The warranty does not cover scratched lenses, missing decorations or general wear and tear to the eyewear.
